This fall, I got together with Gerry and Jaime’s family to do some portraits. There were plenty of colorful leaves on the ground, which made for some fun shots. It turned out that it snowed a week later and all the leaves on the ground and still on the trees got soggy and brown. No more pretty colors. So yeah, we got these photos in just in time! Can’t say the same of my family, but oh well, now I know: if you want pictures with fall color, make sure to schedule family photos before mid-November…or just pray it doesn’t snow until afterward.
