Hi, I'm Robin, it's nice to meet you!
College was one of my favorite seasons of my life! I loved the three years I spent at NNU (transfer students unite!). As an art major and photographer for the yearbook and student newspaper, I spent most of my time photographing other people. Technically that means I've been doing this for almost 20 years! I can't believe how quickly the time has flown for me, and I know you won't believe it, either. Let me help you savor these days and celebrate everything you've accomplished... without adding to your student debt!
cap and gown photos
Pros: Weather is typically pleasant, colorful flowers
Cons: Waiting in line for popular locations, possible rain
Spring is a beautiful season, though we have occasional rain in March and April. The biggest challenge for spring graduation photos, though, is working around the crowds of other people taking cap and gown photos. If you're willing to get up early, we'll stand a better chance of getting a spot to ourselves.
Pros: Fewer crowds around popular locations (like the big B at BSU)
Cons: Winter is COLD, fall colors may have passed, snow is unpredictable
Winter in the Treasure Valley can be very brown, overcast, and blah. We can mitigate that by choosing indoor or architectural locations. If you receive your cap and gown within the first two weeks of November, we may be able to catch the end of the fall colors.
1.5 hours • multiple locations • 2-4 outfits • 100+ images
COLLEGE SENIOR SESSION | 425
For those of you who want to commemorate your full college experience in depth, this is basically a college version of high school senior photos. We can hit up multiple locations on and off campus. You're free to wear your cap and/or gown with any of your outfit choices, simply use them as props, or skip them all together. This session requires more planning, as we'll want to make sure we have permission to photograph at all the places that have sentimental value to you.
30 minutes • one main location • 30-40 images
CAP AND GOWN MINI SESSION | 150
This session covers all the basics to give you options for your graduation announcements: some with just the cap, some in your gown, and of course the cap/gown/hood/etc together. I also like to take a few photos without any of your graduation attire (typically in whatever you're planning to wear to commencement, but you're an adult now, you can wear whatever you want). These can come in handy for a LinkedIn profile picture, job application, and your parents' wall.
What does "one main location" mean? Basically anywhere within walking distance.
Make sure your gown is ironed or steamed and ready to go. You'll also want your cap, tassel, hood, and any other regalia. I'll also send you a more complete list of things to consider bringing to your session.
You're considered official when we've chosen a date, signed a contract, and I've received your payment in full.
Let's see if we can get you on my schedule! I'm also happy to talk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
Whether you'd like more information or you're ready to book with me, let's get the conversation started!
I intentionally make time to step away from my devices, but you can expect to hear back from me within 24-48 hours. Have an awesome day!
