Dave & Shirley’s Family | Payette, Idaho

Since it’s a short drive from downtown Payette, Idaho to Kiwanis Park, Dave and Shirley’s family opted to go to both locations for their family pictures. It was a cold and mostly cloudy day in early December, so everyone took turns jumping in and out of their coats. Somehow we made it work! I swear, I have no idea how my brain misheard one of the boys’ names. Good thing I asked, “Um, Brianne?” Yeah, not even close, Robin. I felt like such an idiot. Thankfully, Steve and Kyla corrected my kindly and we moved on. Face palm. Anyway, one person was feeling ill during the session but was such a good sport that I didn’t even know until the others told me toward the end. Being sick is miserable enough. But having your picture taking when you’re feeling crummy…ugh, I wouldn’t want to do it. (I’m not telling who it was–if you can’t tell, why should I? Tee hee.)

Derek and Kelsi are expecting a baby boy soon. I thought that was kind of fun that a family with three daughters would end up with three grandsons! At least so far, anyway…no pressure 🙂
