Last week, Dennis and Pat’s children and grandchildren all came into town to celebrate their 50th anniversary. While they were here, I had the opportunity to take their portraits. They asked a friend if we could shoot the photos in their backyard (which, by the way, is even more beautiful than you can see in these pictures). The forecast said it was supposed to be cloudy, but instead it was very sunny. Thankfully we were able to work with the shade we did have, even if it limited our options a little. Additionally, I came down with a cold a few days before, but I had so much fun working with this group that I forgot about how crummy I was feeling. Besides, how often do you get everyone together for your 50th anniversary?!
