I recently attended a wedding at Still Water Hollow in Nampa, Idaho. I couldn’t help but snap a few shots of the beautiful venue and the couple’s unique decorations. Check out this gorgeous chapel!
We loved the vases, which were covered with pink glitter, and the tree trunk centerpieces.

This ladder is a really great idea, especially if you need something to take up some floor/ground space without needing its own table or stand. You could put other things like picture frames on it, too. Hmm, that might look good in my house…

Their cake was made to resemble tree bark. I love it! Of course, the carved initials and heart fit the theme perfectly.

An alternative to the unity candle. In Christian weddings, the cords symbolize the Lord, the groom, and the bride (she’s the pink one, obviously!). This comes from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Although the passage mainly discusses the importance of human relationships, in the case of a wedding, it’s understood that God is the Third Person in the marriage, holding the bride and groom together. They make their vows not only to each other but also to God.
The “W” is for their last name. In case you were wondering.
